Code of Conduct for Darker Projects Messageboard

From Darker Projects Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

Darker Projects is proud to have this list and to hear and receive all the observations, comments and suggestions of its membership. This is a vital link to providing the highest quality experience for all.

While a part of group, we ask the following considerations of all participants:

  1. Do not engage in arguments in open threads.
    • We all understand that disagreements will happen, however, there is a difference between a disagreement and a full out bickering hurtful squabble.
    • Disagreements are allowed, as long as some kind of fruitful discussion can be made out of it. Not everyone will think the same way. We all have different opinions.
    • If you happen to disagree with someone’s observations, comments or suggestions to the point that you want to have a tacky tit or tat bickering petty situation, please take that disagreement to them in a private email.
    • If you seem unable to find common ground, please address this issue to the administration of this website.
  2. Please mark any post containing spoilers as SPOILERS.
    • The best rule of thumb is that IF you want to discuss specifics of an episode in open thread label it as POTENTIAL SPOILER until the episode has been in distribution for at least thirty (30) days. PLEASE help us to not interfere with the enjoyment of others.
  3. The following will not be tolerated:
    • Flaming of persons, groups, or other productions.
    • Rude, inconsiderate, or intolerant comments.
    • Foul Language.

We are all looking for great audio productions to listen and enjoy. We would appreciate it if all members would follow the rules put forth by the administration of this board.

Unfortunate consequences of said actions:

  • First offense: Private warning
  • Second Offense: Public warning
  • Third Offense: Termination of your membership and association.

Darker Projects has never stood by the dismissive or abusive treatment of other people, groups or productions as a means of making ourselves look better. As a matter of fact, when you flame another group or production in an attempt to make yours look better, you are seen by others as being uncivil and unable to stand on your own merits. This group is comprised of the best in audio drama and we want to be seen that way but only based on our performances and our professionalism.

Thanks, The Dark Council
